Vice President Dr. Bharrat Jagdeo met with sugar workers today at the Albion Sports Complex, where he outlined the Government’s vision for the sugar industry.
He emphasized the significant transformations that have taken place in the sector over the years.
Accompanying the Vice President were Senior Minister in the Office of the President with Responsibility for Finance, Dr. Ashni Singh; Minister of Agriculture, Zulfikar Mustapha; Regional Chairman, David Armogan; and Regional Executive Officer, Narindra Persaud. The meeting aimed to engage with workers and highlight the government’s commitment to revitalizing the sugar industry.
