News Room Guyana Reports : Ten people, including women and children, have died in six road accidents across Guyana in the past four days, primarily due to speeding.

Key incidents include:
Soesdyke/Linden Highway: On Saturday, 26-year-old Mario Campbell crashed into a parked truck, killing his seven-year-old son and two passengers. Campbell survived with serious injuries.
Region Nine: On Sunday, a family of three—Jagnarine Stephen, his wife Kyrea, and their two-year-old daughter—died when their motorcycle collided with a minibus while speeding.
Montrose Public Road: An unidentified pedestrian was killed on Monday after running into a car. The driver initially fled but later returned and was detained.
Doch Four Public Road: Also on Monday, 72-year-old Grace Lyte died after a head-on collision when her relative’s car, driven at high speed, struck a truck.
Additionally, 64-year-old Ava Braithwaite succumbed to injuries from an accident involving a Russian Embassy vehicle earlier this month.
The government has implemented an automated speed ticketing system to curb speeding and improve road safety.
