Kaieteur News : A tragic incident unfolded on Thursday night when a 17-year-old boy fatally stabbed his stepfather, Ryan Thomas, following a domestic dispute. The altercation reportedly occurred after Thomas returned home intoxicated and began abusing his mother.
While the police have yet to release an official statement, sources indicate that Thomas was stabbed in the neck during the confrontation. Witnesses claim that Thomas had a history of abusing his common-law wife, particularly when under the influence of alcohol. Allegations of past sexual assault against another female resident in the home have also surfaced.
On the night of the incident, Thomas arrived home while the family was asleep and exhibited disorderly behavior. An argument ensued after his common-law wife confronted him about his actions.
