Jaheem Bonus, an 18-year-old welder from West Wootaka, Linden, was arrested at the Itaballi Police Checkpoint and charged with possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
During his appearance before Magistrate Teriq Mohamed, the charge was read to him, and he pleaded not guilty. Bail was granted in the amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000). The case has been adjourned to October 7, 2025.
