Police ranks from Regional Division #8 conducted an operation on Thursday, August 7, 2025, resulting in the discovery of over 200 grams of suspected cannabis at the Mahdia Arcade.
During the exercise, officers searched the surrounding areas of the Arcade and located a plastic bag containing leaves, seeds, and stems believed to be cannabis. The bag was found abandoned behind a zinc fence at the rear of the Arcade.
The suspected narcotics were photographed at the scene and later taken to the Mahdia Police Station, where they were weighed, totaling 205 grams. The investigation is ongoing as police continue to gather information related to the find.
