Mark Major, a 31-year-old construction worker from Lot 68 Belmont, Mahaica, was arrested on July 11, 2025, and charged with possession of narcotics after being found with 11 grams of cannabis.
Major appeared before His Worship Magistrate Allan Wilson at the Mahaicony Magistrate’s Court, where the charge was presented. He pleaded guilty to the offence. As a result, he was fined $6,000 and ordered to complete 60 days of community service.
