for Possession of Unlicensed Firearm and Narcotics

Police have arrested an 84-year-old pensioner, Hubert Campbell, during an operation at Yarrowkabra, Soesdyke/Linden Highway. He was found in possession of an unlicensed 9mm firearm and 30 grams of marijuana.

At approximately 3:30 PM yesterday, acting on received information, officers from the Highway Patrol Base visited Lot 124 Yarrowkabra. Upon arrival, they identified themselves to Campbell, who began to act suspiciously and sat on a bench under a shed in his shop.
