Former President Donald Ramotar has publicly refuted claims made in a Facebook post by Amanda Jaipersaud, which suggested that he endorsed Nigel Hughes as the next President of Guyana.
In a statement, Ramotar clarified, “I wish to inform the public that that statement is absolutely untrue.” He emphasized the importance of accurate information and urged the public to disregard any misleading statements regarding his political endorsements.
The former president’s response comes amid ongoing discussions about potential candidates for the upcoming elections in Guyana.
