This is my second video addressing the current political climate in Guyana. For the past month, I stepped away from the political scene to focus on my business. However, I felt compelled to speak out again after experiencing a second attempt to damage my character and my tour business in Brazil.
It is disheartening to see the lengths this government will go to discredit individuals. The administration has become a disappointment to the majority of Guyanese. The ongoing victimization is alarming, especially considering that I, as an Indian, am being targeted by a government that should be representing its own people.
When individuals like myself speak the truth about the situation in Guyana, it seems the government does not want to hear it. The Ethnic Relations Commission (ERC) is a complete failure in addressing these issues.
I urge everyone to consider the implications of supporting the current administration. Think about your children. If they choose to speak out for their rights under this government, they may face the same victimization I am experiencing. Is this the type of administration you want to put back in power?
What I am facing today is a consequence of speaking the truth. False narratives are being spread to tarnish the reputation of myself and my business. As we approach the upcoming elections, I urge you to make an informed decision.
