The News Desk Reports Police are currently investigating a brutal chopping incident that left a 30-year-old man, Vijai Ramdhanny, nursing multiple injuries after being attacked by three armed men on Tuesday evening.
Ramdhanny reported to The News Desk that he was at home preparing dinner when he heard a knock at his door. Upon opening it, he was confronted by a man he knew, accompanied by two others. According to Ramdhanny, two of the men were armed with cutlasses, while the third carried a crowbar.
During the attack, Ramdhanny sustained several injuries, including a significant chop wound to the head. He was quickly rushed to the Port Mourant Hospital, where he received treatment for his injuries.
The incident has been reported to the police, but no arrests have been made yet, despite the fact that all three suspects are believed to reside in the area. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to bring those responsible to justice.
