Prakash Ramnauth, known as ‘Bobin’, a 19-year-old resident of Mahaica, East Coast Demerara, was arrested on March 17, 2025, and charged on April 7, 2025, with Break-and-Enter-and-Larceny, contrary to Section 229 (a) of the Criminal Law (Offences) Act, Chapter 08:01.

The alleged crime occurred between March 10 and 11, 2025, at Unity Mahaica and was committed against Anjalie Ramnauth, a 25-year-old housewife and poultry farmer.
On April 7, 2025, at approximately 10:00 AM, the accused appeared before His Worship A. Wilson at the Mahaicony Magistrates Court, where the charge was read. Ramnauth pleaded not guilty, and bail was set at $50,000. The case is scheduled for adjournment on July 25, 2025.
