Several individuals have been arrested in connection with the tragic attack on two brothers in Litchfield on Thursday night. The deceased has been identified as 18-year-old Jerroy Gordon, a resident of Lot 68 Litchfield, Region Five.

Reports indicate that Jerroy and his 16-year-old brother, Jerry Gordon, were riding a motorcycle when they were violently confronted a short distance from their home. In an emotional interview, Jerry recounted the harrowing ordeal, explaining that they were returning home after purchasing food when they encountered a group of armed men.
“All I know is one of them ran across the road with a rope and he shook my brother off the bike. We both fell off. When I turned back, I saw them running towards us. One had a cutlass coming at me, so I had to run. I ran to Litchfield, called my cousins, and it took me a while before I went back to the scene,” he revealed.
Tragically, Jerroy was rushed to Fort Wellington Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival due to a severe neck wound and other injuries.
Investigations have revealed that Jerroy had previous altercations with some of the assailants earlier this year. That matter had been reported to the police and was in court but concluded prior to this incident.
Region Five Commander Lonsdale Withrite confirmed that several individuals have been detained for questioning in connection with the killing, and police investigations are ongoing. The community is in shock as they mourn the loss of a young life, and authorities are working to uncover the circumstances surrounding this violent attack.
