Sunday Express Reports : A mother of three, Valene Vanessa Campbell, 34, was shot dead on Friday night in Enterprise, Chaguanas, in what her friends and family are calling a senseless act of violence.
Campbell was discovered lying face-down in a concrete drain around 7:50 PM, shortly after police received reports of gunfire in the area. Officers from the Chaguanas Criminal Investigations Department (CID) arrived at the scene to find her with a gunshot wound to the upper back.
Authorities do not suspect robbery, as Campbell’s purse was found beside her.
The Sunday Express reported that friends, family, and neighbors were devastated by the news of her death. Community members expressed their shock and grief, highlighting the impact of this tragic loss on Campbell’s family and the wider community.
