A manhunt is currently underway for Shaka Phillips, the alleged shooter in the tragic death of Jenel Pollydore, a popular TikTok personality and teacher, who was shot and killed on Saturday night while attending a wedding reception at a hotel in Linden.
Pollydore, a mother of three including a three-month-old baby with Phillips was gunned down in front of shocked guests at the event. At the time of the incident, sources confirm that she had an active restraining order against Phillips.
The 26-year-old educator also shared two children with her ex-husband. Following the shooting, Phillips reportedly fled the scene, prompting police to launch a manhunt and initiate a full-scale investigation into the circumstances surrounding Pollydore’s death.
Authorities are urging anyone with information on Phillips’ whereabouts to come forward as the investigation unfolds.
