A search party has been mobilized to locate Charles Osbourne, a resident of Moraikobai Village, who went missing following a collision between two boats on Friday morning.

The accident occurred around 9:30 a.m., as confirmed by Derrick John, Chairman of the National Toshaos Council (NTC) and Toshao of Moraikobai. According to John, Osbourne was operating a 15hp outboard Yamaha engine boat when it collided with a larger 250hp engine boat that was transporting passengers into the village.
The incident comes just a day before the village is set to celebrate its 100th anniversary, adding to the gravity of the situation. The community is rallying together to assist in the search efforts for Osbourne, hoping for his safe return.
