Niraz Sukdeo, a 25-year-old resident of Lancaster Village, was remanded to prison on Wednesday after being found guilty of causing the death of his girlfriend in a fatal accident last year.

At the Number 51 Magistrate’s Court, Magistrate Tuanna Hardy convicted Sukdeo of causing death by dangerous driving related to a crash that occurred on July 22, 2024, which claimed the life of his 18-year-old girlfriend, Bibi Aleah Ali, a medical technologist.
Sukdeo is scheduled to return to court next Wednesday for sentencing.
