As members of the disciplined services prepare to vote this Friday, President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali urged them to choose wisely and consider the party that has supported them.

Speaking in Black Bush Polder, he reminded them of the previous administration’s cuts to their Christmas bonuses and highlighted the PPP/C’s restoration of this benefit, which has been in place since 2002.
President Ali noted that thousands received approximately $1.6 billion in bonuses by 2024 and announced a minimum wage increase for junior ranks to $130,000. He promised continued support for housing, salary increases, training, and quality healthcare.
He called on the joint services to vote consciously for the PPP/C to ensure ongoing progress and prosperity for all Guyanese.
