Agricola Man Arrested for Allegedly Discharging Firearm with Intent

HGP Nightly News Reports. Keon Narine, a 22-year-old electrician from 120 Ceaser Street, Agricola, was arrested today for allegedly discharging a loaded firearm with intent at the home of Gideon Bollers, a 60-year-old carpenter residing at Lot 120 Brutus Street, Agricola. The incident occurred around 8:30 AM.

Keon Narine is the brother of Nicholas Narine, who was reportedly shot and killed earlier this morning in Agricola by Raphael Bollers, the son of Gideon Bollers.

Preliminary investigations indicate that Keon arrived at Brutus Street on a motorcycle, armed with a firearm. He reportedly stopped in front of the Bollers’ residence and discharged several rounds, hitting the house multiple times before fleeing the scene on his motorcycle in a northern direction.

Police later apprehended Narine at his home, where a search revealed an AR-15 rifle and a magazine containing five live 5.56 rounds of ammunition in a bedroom. He was informed of the charges against him, cautioned, and subsequently arrested. The firearm and ammunition were seized and taken to the Ruimveldt Police Station.

During questioning, Narine acknowledged that he targeted the residence because Raphael Bollers had killed his brother, Nicholas. He claimed the firearm belonged to Nicholas Narine.

Detectives processing the scene recovered eighteen spent 5.56mm shells. Keon Narine remains in custody as the investigation continues.
