On August 15, 2025, the A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) launched its manifesto for the upcoming General and Regional Elections, pledging to eliminate all forms of poverty. Presidential Candidate Aubrey Norton described the manifesto as a “Compact with the People,” prioritizing the well-being of citizens.

Key promises include:
- Increasing old-age pensions to $100,000
- Raising the tax-free threshold to $400,000
- Increasing the minimum wage for public servants to $200,000
- Providing $50,000 monthly for each post-secondary student
- Offering electricity subsidies of up to $10,000 and water subsidies of up to $5,000
- Granting $120,000 annually for every child
In the first 100 days, APNU aims to distribute $100,000 to all adults and implement various social programs. Norton addressed concerns about inflation linked to cash transfers, expressing confidence in managing potential impacts through sustainable agriculture and increased production.
The manifesto outlines a “people-centred development strategy” to ensure a livable income and quality social services, with a focus on maximizing oil revenues, reducing government inefficiencies, and expanding the non-oil economy.
APNU is one of six parties contesting the elections.
