In a Video Statement he Stated “As a proud member of Guyana’s mining community, I, Azeem Baksh , wholeheartedly endorse President Irfaan Ali for a second term. Since taking office in 2020, President Ali has consistently delivered on his promises, introducing real incentives that miners like myself benefit from every day.
His bold leadership has removed burdens, created opportunities, and provided meaningful support to the mining sector. These practical measures have not only strengthened the industry but have also uplifted the lives of countless miners across Guyana.
I stand with President Ali as he continues to build a stronger, more dynamic, and prosperous Guyana for all. I encourage all miners and Guyanese to vote for President Irfaan Ali and the PPP/C government in the upcoming general and regional elections on September 4, 2025, to ensure continued progress and development for all of Guyana.”
