In a Social Media Statement via the Team Mohameds Facebook page he wrote : I, Azruddin Mohamed, categorically reject and denounce the baseless and politically motivated lies against me. I have never visited the Venezuelan Embassy or applied for a visa to Venezuela.
This smear campaign aims to distract from the PPP’s alleged corruption being exposed on social media. I challenge the Venezuelan Embassy to produce any proof of my entry or visa application.
It is disheartening that this administration would misuse state resources for political gain. Coercing the Venezuelan Ambassador to mislead the public indicates a dangerous partnership between the Guyanese and Venezuelan governments. Such deception threatens our territorial integrity and sovereignty.
I urge my supporters to stay focused and not be distracted by these lies. September 1 is a turning point for our nation.
