Humphrey, a photographer, adopted Maddie in 2011 after leaving his corporate job for a road trip. Their bond was immediate, with Humphrey captivated by her unique appearance. Over the years, Maddie’s adventures were documented on Instagram, where she became known for her ability to balance on various objects.

In his emotional post, Humphrey wrote, “Maddie is gone. Neat to have shared little bits of the journey with y’all. She was the best dog ever.” Tributes from fans poured in, with many expressing gratitude for the joy Maddie brought into their lives.
