Businessman Azruddin Mohamed, 38, of Lot 19, Public Road, Houston EBD, has been charged with multiple traffic offenses and granted bail totaling $65,000.

According to a release from the Guyana Police Force, Mohamed was charged on November 14, 2025, at Whim Magistrate Court. The charges include:
Prohibited tinted glass
Obscured ID mark
Unlicensed motor vehicle
Uninsured motor vehicle
The matters were called on several occasions, with Magistrate T. Hardy issuing a summons for Mohamed to appear in court on January 9, 2026. When he appeared in court, the charges were read to him, and he pleaded not guilty to all counts.
Bail was granted as follows:
Prohibited tinted glass: $5,000
Obscured ID mark: $40,000
Unlicensed motor vehicle: $10,000
Uninsured motor vehicle: $10,000
The total bail amount is $65,000. The matter has been postponed to January 30, 2026, for further proceedings.
