The Office of the Prime Minister, Co-operative Republic of Guyana, is pleased to announce vacancies at the Hinterland Electrification Company Inc. (HECI) for the positions of Electrical & Mechanical Engineers.
Position: Electrical & Mechanical Engineers
Requirements:
- A relevant engineering degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum of three (3) years of work experience as an electrical or mechanical engineer. Electrical engineers should have a working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Experience in solar system design and installation will be an asset.
- Excellent report writing skills.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing electrical and mechanical systems.
- Conducting inspections and assessments of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Providing technical support and expertise for solar system design and installation.
- Producing detailed reports on project progress and findings.
Additional Information: Successful candidates will be required to spend extended periods in hinterland communities.
