In a Statement on Facebook Mr. Mark Goring Wrote : A troubling incident occurred today at Regma Primary School, where several students fell ill after consuming breakfast as part of the school’s meal program. The children were served chow mein, which was reportedly sour, leading to numerous complaints of sickness afterward.

This alarming event is not the first of its kind; concerns about the quality of meals provided to students have been raised previously. Parents and community members are expressing frustration over the recurring problem of poor food safety standards in school meal programs.
Mark Goring, a community leader, questioned the oversight of meal preparation, asking, “Who is responsible for ensuring that these meals are safe and healthy before they reach the children?” He emphasized the serious implications of providing inadequate and potentially dangerous meals to students.
Goring called for immediate action from relevant authorities to investigate the matter thoroughly. He urged for proper supervision and the establishment of rigorous food safety standards, as well as a monitoring committee dedicated to ensuring the quality of meals served to children.
“Their safety must come first,” Goring stated, highlighting the urgent need for systemic changes to prevent future incidents.
