Daily Mail Reports : Rosie Roche, a cousin of Prince William and Prince Harry, was found dead at her family home on July 14, with a firearm discovered nearby. The 20-year-old, granddaughter of Princess Diana’s uncle, was packing for a holiday with friends when she was located by her mother and sister.
An inquest opened at the Wiltshire and Swindon coroner’s court has been adjourned until October 25. Coroner Grant Davies reported that police have deemed the death non-suspicious, confirming there was no third-party involvement.
Ms. Roche was studying English Literature at Durham University. A family spokeswoman expressed that she “will be sorely missed” by those who knew her.
An obituary published in the Yorkshire Post noted her as the “darling daughter” of Hugh and Pippa, and an “incredible sister” to Archie and Agatha. A private family funeral is planned, with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
This incident follows a similar tragedy involving Thomas Kingston, husband of Lady Gabriella Windsor, who died earlier this year under comparable circumstances.
