Department of Education-Region #10 Statement : It is with profound sorrow and deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved teacher, Ms. Stephanie Sears, Assistant Mistress at Christianburg Nursery School.
The cold and unkind hands of death have taken Ms. Sears from us far too suddenly. The Department is in deep mourning, and we are beyond grief-stricken by her passing. Ms. Sears was at work today, diligently preparing her end-of-term records, when she fell ill.
Ms. Stephanie Sears was a devoted educator whose commitment, professionalism, and love for her children left an indelible mark on the Christianburg Nursery community and the wider education family. Her loss is deeply felt by colleagues, students, parents, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, colleagues, and the entire Christianburg Nursery School community during this time of immense sorrow.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
