Dr. Terrence Campbell Call for Independent Investigation into Housing Ministry Allegations

  • News

In a social Media Statement Dr. Terrence Campbell has reiterated his demand for an independent investigation into ongoing allegations of corruption within the Ministry of Housing. In a statement released today, Campbell expressed skepticism regarding recent developments, including a lawsuit and an apology issued by the ministry, suggesting they are merely tactics to divert attention from serious accusations.

He stated:

“It is my opinion that the lawsuit and apology are nothing but a ruse, an attempt to deflect attention from the allegations of corruption. An attempt to whitewash the charges of criminality now in the public domain. The Guyanese people are not fooled.”

Campbell emphasized the need for transparency and accountability, calling for the immediate termination of Minister Susan Rodrigues until a thorough investigation is conducted into the allegations. His comments reflect growing public concern over governance and integrity within the ministry.

The call for an independent inquiry underscores the urgency for clarity on the matter, as many citizens demand accountability from their leaders in light of the serious accusations.
