The Forward Guyana Movement (FGM) has expressed outrage over the violent assault allegedly committed by Mikkel Rodrigues, known as “Critics,” against Bryan Max. The incident, which was captured on video, shows Rodrigues brutally attacking Max, resulting in severe injuries.

FGM emphasizes that this incident constitutes grievous bodily harm and calls for immediate legal action. They demand the following:
The arrest and formal charges against Rodrigues for inflicting grievous bodily harm or the highest applicable charge under Guyanese law.
If Rodrigues is not already in custody, the issuance of a wanted bulletin without delay.
Equal treatment under the law, asserting that Rodrigues should not be shielded due to his connections with the ruling government.
The group further asserts that Rodrigues poses a flight risk, citing his history of “disappearing” into the interior under the pretext of mining and his ability to leave the country at will.
FGM insists that law and order must be upheld uniformly for all citizens, stressing that political affiliations should not exempt individuals from accountability. The organization calls on authorities to act decisively to restore faith in the legal system.
