Mohamed Fazar Ally, a 24-year-old fisherman from Jackson Creek, has been remanded to prison after being charged with the murder of Gavin Daniels, also known as “Talk to Me,” a 38-year-old Amerindian laborer from Moleson Creek.

Ally appeared at the Springlands Magistrates Court before Magistrate Tuanna Hardy on Thursday, where he was not required to enter a plea to the indictable charge. Magistrate Hardy underscored the seriousness of the charge and ordered that Ally be held in custody. He is scheduled to return to court on August 8, 2025.
The incident reportedly occurred around 8:00 PM on Monday when a disagreement between Ally and Daniels escalated into violence. It is alleged that Ally stabbed Daniels multiple times during the altercation. Daniels was rushed to Skeldon Public Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Following the incident, Ally was arrested and brought before the court to face the murder charge. The case has raised concerns in the community regarding violence and conflict resolution.
