In a Social Media Statement Annette N. Ferguson, a former Member of Parliament, has expressed concern over a video circulating on social media that features Claudine, reportedly a member of the People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C), during a visit to the Indigenous Peoples Hostel on Princes Street. Ferguson criticized Claudine’s conduct, stating it raises serious questions about respect for public institutions and appropriate civic behavior.

In her statement, Ferguson lamented, “It is unfortunate when any person allows political affiliation to influence behavior in ways that undermine decorum and public trust.” She urged Claudine to reflect on her actions and consider the example she sets for younger citizens, emphasizing the importance of upholding civic values.
“As an elder in the community, she is in a position to demonstrate maturity, responsibility, and integrity,” Ferguson remarked. She encouraged Claudine to engage in introspection and take necessary steps to correct her course rather than allowing political influences to compromise her dignity.
Ferguson further appealed to those who know Claudine, urging them to encourage her to adopt a more respectful approach toward herself and others. This incident has sparked discussions on the importance of maintaining decorum in public and political life.
