In a heartfelt message shared on Facebook, Ganesh Mahipaul expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support he has received in recent days. His Messenger and WhatsApp inboxes have been filled with messages encouraging him not to judge individuals based solely on their attendance at events hosted by the People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C).

Mahipaul noted that many have clarified that their presence at these events is not a sign of loyalty but rather a necessity for survival under a government that has been accused of weaponizing state resources and victimizing dissenters. He quoted a common sentiment among them: “All skin teeth nah laugh,” emphasizing that many are simply trying to secure temporary jobs or contracts to support their families.
What struck Mahipaul most was the honesty and trust shown in the APNU coalition, which he highlighted as a political entity that has never governed through fear or intimidation. He pointed out that, unlike the PPP/C, the APNU respects the constitutional rights of all Guyanese, irrespective of their political affiliations.
Mahipaul reiterated the commitment of those who reached out to him, assuring that their votes come Election Day are not for sale but firmly belong to the APNU. He described the coalition as a movement grounded in dignity, justice, and a people-first approach to development.
He concluded his message by thanking all who reached out to him, acknowledging their courage and support, and reaffirming the APNU’s dedication to making Guyana a comfortable home for all its citizens.
