Ken McPherson, known as ‘Gods,’ a 32-year-old gold miner from Lot 53, Litchfield Village, West Coast Berbice, has been arrested and charged with Attempt to Commit Murder.
The arrest took place on Thursday, August 18, 2025, following a shooting incident involving Shamar Adrian at 14 Miles Issano Landing, Middle Mazaruni River.
Today, January 9, 2026, McPherson appeared in the Bartica Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Teriq Mohamed. The charge was formally read to him, but he was not required to enter a plea for the indictable charge. McPherson was subsequently remanded to prison.
The case has been adjourned to February 24, 2026, for further proceedings.
