Junior Anthony Greaves, a 44-year-old gold miner from Kitty Georgetown and Port Kaituma Water Front in Region One, has been charged with possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking after his arrest at the Eugene F. Correia International Airport in Ogle on August 24, 2025.

Authorities discovered 26.7 lbs of cocaine in Greaves’s possession, leading to his arrest. He was subsequently charged on August 26 and appeared in the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Abigail Gibbs.
During the court proceedings, Greaves pleaded not guilty to the charges. However, bail was denied, and he was remanded to prison. The case has been adjourned to September 19, 2025, for further disclosure.
