The court was informed that an indictment was filed against Bynoe in Ohio on September 20, 2023. He faces serious charges, including misuse of a Social Security number, bank fraud, and aggravated identity theft.

During the hearing, Magistrate McGusty inquired whether Bynoe had legal representation or intended to seek a lawyer. He responded that he did not have legal counsel. When asked if he wished to contest the extradition request, Bynoe declined, acknowledging that by not opposing the extradition, he would be returned to the U.S. to face the charges.

Following his affirmations, Bynoe was committed to custody pending his extradition proceedings.

In a related note, the court session followed a tragic incident reported earlier, where an operator died after being pinned by an excavator at Mango Landing.
