Hello everyone,
I am writing to you today with a heavy heart to ask for your urgent help and support for my sweet little niece, Aliza Ishmail. Aliza is only three years old and lives with her family in Guyana.
Aliza is the light of her family’s life. After years of trying, her parents were overjoyed to finally have their baby girl. She is a true princess to her three adoring older brothers and a devoted “daddy’s girl” who follows him everywhere. Her beautiful smile can brighten any room, and her favorite toy is Peppa Pig. She is a vibrant, happy child who has brought immeasurable joy to everyone who knows her.
Tragically, Aliza was recently diagnosed with Multifocal Hepatoblastoma (Stage 4 cancer). The cancer started in her liver and has spread aggressively to both lungs and the main artery in her heart.The doctors in Guyana have exhausted their options and are giving up hope. But Aliza’s body is strong, and her parents are fierce fighters who will do anything to give her a chance at life. We refuse to accept that this is the end of her story.
Our goal is to take Aliza abroad (to India) immediately for specialized treatment, with the main goal of securing a liver transplant. This critical care is not available in Guyana. The total cost for everything is $75,000 USD.
During this devastating time, we do not want her parents to bear the crushing burden of financial worry. We want them to focus entirely on Aliza’s fight.
