Hon. Natasha Singh-Lewis endorsed Azruddin Mohamed and the political party We Invest in Nationhood (WIN), emphasizing the critical juncture at which the nation stands. Reflecting on Guyana’s fifty-nine years of striving for political stability, national unity, and social and economic advancement, she lamented that the voices of the oppressed and marginalized have often been silenced under the dominance of two major political parties.

In her address, Singh-Lewis articulated her decision to support the WIN party after a thorough examination of its manifesto and leadership team. “I am adding my voice and strength as a woman in politics to the vision of Mr. Azruddin Mohamed,” she stated. “He leads a party that serves as a beacon of hope, giving voice to the voiceless and power to the powerless.”
WIN’s vision is founded on the principle that true democracy thrives when every individual, regardless of background, identity, or economic status, can actively participate in shaping society.
“My brothers and sisters, we are at a crossroads where we must choose to empower voices that can transform our society,” Singh-Lewis urged. She called for a commitment to core principles such as equity, justice, inclusive representation, and civic engagement, emphasizing the importance of grassroots mobilization and the empowerment of the younger generation through education and equal opportunities.
Singh-Lewis highlighted the leadership of WIN as a testament to the resilience of oppressed and marginalized communities. “I am one woman who yearns for justice, equity, and a more inclusive society,” she declared as she joined this transformative movement for all Guyanese.
Together, she urged citizens to build a future where every voice matters, every life is valued, and every person has the opportunity to thrive in their community, wherever they are in Guyana. “Let us rise, united in purpose and action, to forge a Guyana where justice and dignity are not just ideals, but lived realities for all,” she concluded.
