INTERPOL Issues Red Notice for Brazilian Murder Suspect

INTERPOL has issued a Red Notice for Brazilian national Fernando Teles Pereira, wanted by the Guyana Police Force for the murder of 21-year-old Venezuelan Miguelys Centeno Gerdez.

Pereira, employed by W. Golding, Logistics and Aggregate Company, picked up Gerdez on February 5, 2025, at Diamond Junction. Her body was found on March 4, 2025, showing severe head trauma.

After the incident, Pereira fled to Brazil. The Red Notice requests law enforcement in INTERPOL’s 196 member countries to locate and provisionally arrest him for extradition or legal proceedings.
