General Secretary Dr. Bharrat Jagdeo announced that pensioners will receive a minimum of $60,000 per month, education grants will continue, and public assistance will increase, totaling around $100 billion annually.

Jagdeo outlined three main pillars of the PPP/C’s vision for the next term:

Transformation of Society: Modernizing government services and fostering a digital, diversified economy.

Community-Level Investment: Increasing spending on local infrastructure like drains and streetlights.

Growth of the Individual: Lowering taxes and delivering 40,000 homes over five years, along with support for home improvements.

Jagdeo emphasized that the PPP/C’s plans focus on improving lives, enhancing human rights protections, and increasing accountability in governance. He noted positive feedback from citizens during the party’s outreach efforts.
