Jamaican sprinter Oblique Seville delivered a stunning performance at the 2025 London Diamond League meeting on Saturday, clinching victory in the men’s 100 meters and outpacing reigning Olympic champion Noah Lyles.

Seville crossed the finish line in an impressive 9.86 seconds, showcasing his speed and skill against a competitive field that included Olympic 200-meter champion Letsile Tebogo and South Africa’s Akani Simbine.
Lyles, running his first 100-meter race since winning gold in Paris 2024, finished the race in 10.00 seconds, while Great Britain’s Zharnel Hughes secured third place with a time of 10.02 seconds.
This victory marks a significant milestone for Seville, who has emerged as a formidable contender in sprinting, further elevating the excitement of the Diamond League series.
