Opposition Member of Parliament and Executive Member of the People’s National Congress Reform (PNC/R), Jermaine Figueira, has resigned from the party. He communicated his decision in a letter addressed to party leader Aubrey Norton.
Figueira, a prominent member of the PNC from Linden, has been involved in party activities for several years. Notably, in early 2024, he was stripped of his shadow portfolio for Culture, Youth, and Sport.
