Essequibo Coast — Moniram Singh, a 50-year-old laborer from Westbury, has been charged with Threatening Behavior against Jennifer Ramcharran, a 50-year-old housewife from the same community. The incident occurred on July 25, 2025.
The case was heard today at the Anna Regina Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Ravindra Mohabir. During the proceedings, the charge was read to Singh, who pleaded guilty.
As a result of his plea, Singh was sentenced to ninety (90) days of imprisonment. The court’s decision underscores the seriousness of such threatening behavior within the community.
