President Dr. Irfaan Ali urged residents of Region Three to turn out in large numbers on September 1 to defend their hard-won gains and secure future progress.
At a PPP/C rally in Stewartville, he emphasized the importance of overwhelming support to defeat opponents. “The best way to crush ignorance is to crush them at the polls,” he declared.
Ali highlighted the region’s transformation since 2020, citing new infrastructure like a commercial bank, mall, and hospital, as well as ongoing projects such as the Four-Lane Demerara River Bridge and the Schoonord-to-Crane highway.
Looking ahead, he outlined plans for a new stadium, a Level Five Regional Hospital, and a medical college, urging voters to choose progress over stagnation.
He concluded by expressing gratitude to his community, reaffirming his commitment to their continued development.
