Mike Caesar, known by the nicknames “Lil Man” and “Spanish Man,” has been charged in connection with the alleged murder of 22-year-old Samuel Marciano, a fellow miner. The incident occurred on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 14 Miles Landing, Issano, Middle Mazaruni River.
According to police reports, Marciano was shot multiple times during a social gathering at the location. Authorities have indicated that two individuals, including Caesar, are suspected in the shooting that claimed Marciano’s life.
Samuel Marciano, a resident of One Mile, Wismar, Linden, succumbed to his injuries at the scene, leading to an investigation by local law enforcement.
Caesar, 27, appeared at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday at approximately 4:30 PM, where the charge of murder, contrary to common law, was formally presented. He was not required to enter a plea to this indictable charge. The court ordered that he be remanded to prison until his next hearing set for February 5, 2026.
As the investigation continues, authorities are urging anyone with additional information about the incident to come forward.
