Baney Lall, a 52-year-old labourer from Lima Sand, has been charged with several traffic violations, including failure to have an identification mark (rear and front), unlicensed driver, and breach of insurance. These offences occurred on January 20, 2026, at the Cotton Field Access Road.

On February 3, 2026, Lall appeared before His Worship Ravindra Mohabir at the Anna Regina Magistrate’s Court, where the charges were read to him. He pleaded guilty to all the offences.
Lall received the following penalties for his violations:
Failure to Have Identification Mark (Rear): fined $75,000 or three months’ imprisonment
Failure to Have Identification Mark (Front): fined $75,000 or three months’ imprisonment
