Elton Gudge, a 49-year-old taxi driver and businessman, has been arrested and charged with sexual activity with a child family member, in violation of Section 16(3)(b)(i) of the Sexual Offences Act, Chapter 8:03.
Gudge is accused of committing the offence in December 2025. He appeared at the Anna Regina Magistrate’s Court on January 21, 2026, before Magistrate Teriq Mohamed, where the charge was read to him.
He was not required to enter a plea at this stage and was granted bail set at $200,000. The case has been adjourned to February 20, 2026, for further proceedings.
