Alle Dash, a 24-year-old resident of Golden Grove, East Coast Demerara, was charged with Simple Larceny after an incident involving Clifton Cooper. The arrest was made by a police officer from the Bartica Police Station earlier today (Friday).
The case was presented at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Teriq Mohammed. Upon hearing the charge, Dash pleaded guilty and was subsequently sentenced to two years in prison.
This sentencing underscores the judicial system’s commitment to addressing theft and ensuring accountability within the community.
