Mark Goring Endorse Presidential Candidate Azruddin Mohamed

By Mark Goring, Regional Vice Chairman

In a Social Media Post Mark Goring Wrote : Today, I reaffirm my unwavering commitment to the people of Region Ten and to every citizen of Guyana. With less than sixty days until the General and Regional Elections, our country stands at a defining crossroads. Political parties are vying not just for power but for the responsibility of managing our nation’s vast resources.

It is deeply unfortunate that the collective opposition and emerging parties have failed to unite in the face of a government that continues to show contempt for its people. The PPP administration has weaponized state institutions against anyone who refuses to echo its “One Guyana” mantra. Corruption is not only unchecked; it flourishes across ministries and agencies. This regime is characterized by discrimination, nepotism, marginalization, cronyism, bullying, injustice, and a systemic disregard for law and order. Yet, despite this record, it remains in contention for reelection, largely unchallenged.

Guyanese citizens are crying out for change. They are weary of empty rhetoric and recycled promises. They demand leadership that works for all, not just the privileged few. We must build a government that uplifts every citizen, where progress is shared and opportunity is real.

We envision a Guyana where:

Freedom of expression and association are protected, with all political voices having fair access to state media.

The Guyana Police Force serves the people, not politicians.

The justice system is independent, corruption-free, and truly committed to justice.

Every citizen has access to reliable electricity, clean water, employment opportunities, affordable food, and durable infrastructure.

National interests come first, with secure borders, regulated immigration, and priority for Guyanese in jobs, housing, and services. All migrants must respect our laws, culture, and language.

The economy empowers citizens, not traps them in dependence on paltry grants in an oil-rich nation.

Our children are protected from every form of abuse, including sexual exploitation.

The candidate I endorse is driven not by power, but by a genuine commitment to uplift our people. Over the past three years, we’ve seen this commitment in action. This is the only leader capable of uniting Guyana without prejudice or division.

Together, we will build a nation where every citizen can thrive. Together, we will make Guyana great.
