Ryan Singh, a 25-year-old porter from Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara, has been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm following an incident on June 1, 2025. Singh was arrested by a police officer from the Beterverwagting Police Station and charged on June 10.
The charge stems from an altercation involving Wazim Shameer in Mon Repos. Singh appeared before His Worship Clive Nurse at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court, where the charge was read to him. He pleaded not guilty to the allegations.
