Mr. A. Mohamed Builds Home for Widows in Region 9

Businessman A. Mohamed has made a significant impact in Wowetta Village, Region Nine, by constructing a new home for two widows, Irenda Smith and Elfreda Moses. This initiative followed requests from villagers who sought assistance for the women, both of whom faced immense challenges after losing their husbands to drowning several years ago.

Living in a dilapidated thatched-roof house that was on the verge of collapse, the two women struggled to make ends meet. While Elfreda recently began receiving a pension, Irenda relied on selling produce from her farm to support herself.

Upon learning about their dire living conditions, Mr. Mohamed promptly agreed to help. Within weeks, the new house was completed, offering the women a safe and comfortable place to live. May 28 marked the one-year anniversary since the home was finished.

Recently, the house was officially handed over to Irenda and Elfreda, who expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Mohamed for his generosity and support. Their new home symbolizes hope and resilience, providing a fresh start for the two widows in their community.
